Overlooking the Market Square in the small town of Masham this charming inn is in a fine Georgian building of tremendous character built in the second half of the 18th century. A quintessential English town Masham is peacefully located on the River Ure in the outskirts of Ripon. It features quaint almshouses and holds traditional markets twice a week. Established in Saxon times its beautiful church was mentioned in the Domesday Book. Kings Head Hotel by Good Night Inns has been carefully renovated to combine traditional Georgian splendor with modern day comforts. To truly relax during the winter guests can take advantage of the real wood and coal fires. In the summer the terrace is the perfect place for a refreshing drink.
