Okay for a very short...

Liked: The location felt safe in a quiet village just outside Luton, we did have a good nights sleep as we were so exhausted from our drive down. The pub downstairs was nice and the food was good value for money. All the staff that we came across were friendly. The location was good, just outside London. WiFi worked well. Free parking was a bonus.
Disliked: Unfortunately the overall cleanliness of the rooms really let the place down, it really needed a good dust and a thorough deep clean. The fan in one of the rooms was so thick with dust that it didn’t work. I had to wipe the thick layer of dust off the blades and the cage. The toilet seat was broken in one of the rooms, it had been cleaned and the broken part was just left on top of the cistern so they must have spotted it was broken when the turned the room around, by the time we noticed we were ready for bed so didn’t have the opportunity to mention it to the staff, as we didn’t see anyone when we checked out, luckily we had 2 rooms so was able to use the toilet in the other rooms. There wasn’t a pole in either room to open the velux windows.

Liked: Very convenient for Luton airport. Very good food on pub. Nearby parking excellent
Disliked: Room right above outside tables of the pub so was very noisy when wanting to sleep at 10pm and was so hot we couldn't close the windows.

Didn't stay long enough to...

Liked: Nice building, but not much else.
Disliked: Room too small. Two small windows, no air conditioning and the hottest day of the year, I left within one hour arriving!Also not impressed with the menu on offer.Reception staff were AWOL!

Really comfortable stay for a...

Liked: Nice quiet location, easy access to the airport, dinner in the pub was lovely

Nice ambience but rooms not...

Liked: The staff, drinks and food were first class. Made us both feel very welcome.
Disliked: Unfortunately we found the room slightly claustrophobic as there were no windows. As we are both larger people the shower really wasn't fit for purpose. We both struggled to get in and there wasn't enough room to turn round.

Disappointed as they could make...

Liked: It was convenient to stay close to Luton airport and be able to get an evening meal when we arrived prior to going on holiday. The room was clean.
Disliked: When we arrived back from holiday and it was a late check in, the reception is not manned and the room allocated to us was locked. We had to ring an emergency number and wait until somebody came to give us our key (which after midnight and a long journey home is not great). The following morning there was no cold water coming out of the shower so it meant the water was too hot to get in the shower. Again nobody on reception to report it to. The rooms are very small and basic and you can hear noise from the other rooms. But if you want clean sheets and a bed for the night this is ok

We would go back again...

Liked: We had supper and it was lovely and very nice to he chef came and spoke to us
Disliked: The toilet didn’t flush after the first flush which was annoying but the place was very quirky
