Very disappointing and uncomfortable.

Liked: Situated in a lovely little hamlet.
Disliked: Bed was terrible. No fitted sheet and an uncovered piece of foam. Bathroom tiny and smell of frying from kitchen revolting. Terrible meal in pub. Caesar salad ..worst ever.

Great for the price

Liked: The room was small, but had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the room was clean, except for the bar stool. There were tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, a fan and a heater.
Disliked: We couldn't get any sound on the TV and decided not to go into the bar as there seemed to be karaoke going on, which we could hear in our room. More plug sockets would have been good. (There we lots outside the room)We didn't eat here as there appeared to only be one vegan option on the menu, which was chilli.

Exceptional

Liked: This pub was a little gem!! Fabulous staff, lovely atmosphere, we were made to feel really welcome. Lovely food, the breakfast was well worth the money. Room was comfy and clean.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: It is a wonderful old country pub full of character. The meals were big and hot as well as "home cooked ". Service was great
Disliked: The way to our room was an interesting journey...

Liked: Lovely spot where it's situated! Very friendly local feel to it. It felt safe. Great value for money! Perfect for a pre holiday stay for an early flight. Food was good and my husband loved the ale
Disliked: It was a hot night and they had 1 fan which only reached 1 side of the room due to lack of plug sockets near the bed by the door. The bed was also a little bit too hard for me but it would be impossible to please everyone with bed comfort as everyone is different
