Good hotel for price, pub...

Liked: The location was in a lovely little village and the food in the pub connected to the hotel was excellent and extremely good value
Disliked: The locals sit outside under the heated lamps till 2.30am frequently and on another night 2 or 3 cars parked in the car park with their music blearing and the doors wide open at 5am.The rooms are quite small and the bathroom it tiny, it is on for a night or two but would not recommend for linger than that. You need a car if staying here as it is no where near public transport and any shops, resurants etc are a mile away

Liked: Breakfast was good
Disliked: A quaint pub, but beds were uncomfortable, shower was terrible and wouldn't stay on warm fluctuated between cool and boiling.Pub was noisy with karaoke going till late.

Lovely family weekend

Liked: I love the age of the hotel, it had low ceilings and beams, the bar area was relaxed and comfortable, they had karaoke on the Friday night. I found all the staff were friendly and chatty, the chef, kevin, especially so. His evening meals and breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. The rooms were small and comfy, with tea and coffee facilities with a small shower room
Disliked: The bath towels were a little small. There were also no long mirrors in any of our groups' rooms,
