Why Concert-goers love it

The King Solomon Hotel is just a 40-minute direct bus ride to Wembley Stadium, making it a practical and budget-friendly choice for fans heading to major gigs. With two major Underground stations within a 10-minute walk, getting back late isn’t a hassle. The peaceful residential setting also makes it a great spot to decompress after a loud night. Who this Hotel is great for

  • Solo travelers attending a bucket-list concert at Wembley
  • Couples making a weekend out of a show and city escape
  • Fans wanting a quiet recovery space after a big night
  • Budget-conscious music lovers needing value and location

Food and Drink Options

While there isn’t late-night dining or 24/7 room service, the hotel’s on-site bar is a cozy spot for a pre-show drink. Plus, there are plenty of walkable restaurants and takeaway spots nearby along Golders Green Road. Breakfast is typically included, which is handy after a late night out.

Nightlife Options

No live music on-site, but you’re just a few Tube stops away from Camden or central London’s legendary nightlife. Whether you're after a buzzing club or a quiet craft beer bar, you'll find it within easy reach.

What People Say

Guests appreciate the excellent location near public transport, as well as the free parking—a rare perk in London. Many say it's clean, simple, and good value for the price. Reviewers also note the area feels safe and quiet, ideal for winding down after a gig.

Areas for Improvement

The décor is a little dated, and some guests mention the rooms could use a refresh. Breakfast is basic and checkout at 10:00 might feel a bit early after a late night. But for the price, most agree it's a fair trade-off.

The Bottom Line

If you’re heading to a concert and want easy access to Wembley, free parking, and budget-friendly comfort, the King Solomon Hotel hits all the right notes.

Good hotel, but can easily...

Liked: The rooms look modern, have fans in them, are well made and clean. There is a veggie breakfast that also offers pastries and pancakes available in the morning for £10 or £7.50 if you book in advance, which is good value for money. The staff are nice. We stayed to attend a Wembley concert, and there was a bus that ran from directly outside the hotel to the stadium. This made it very convenient for us.
Disliked: The shower was almost impossible to use. As soon as you turned it on, once the water tried to drain it was blocked and flooding the shower, so showers had to be very short. This was not ideal. The property exterior needs a lot of work doing, including painting, to make it look more presentable. The interior corridors also have a damp smell in parts, and sometimes little insects. The corridors could also do with painting in parts. It’s important to note that the location is the Jewish quarter of London, which explains why breakfasts in the hotel and all the surrounding cafes are veggie. If you like/need to eat meat for breakfast, it would be best to avoid this area, though this was not a problem for us.

Ok for a bog standard...

Liked: The front desk staff were really nice
Disliked: No one to offer help lift suitcase upstairs as I couldn’t find a lift. Shower was small and not very clean as well as the whole room. One plug socket in the room!!
