Liked: I usually rate the room based on the shower water pressure. Big shower head and awesome water pressure. The bed was comfy.
Disliked: The room I had didn't have a deadbolt for that added security feeling when sleeping. Not a deal breaker

Disliked: I was pulled over by the Monterey Police Department as I was leaving and informed that the place is bad place to stay due they are known for drugs.

Disliked: The room smelt like cigarettes. The toilet constantly leaked at a considerable rate and the shower blasted water from the bottom and top faucets like there's no tomorrow. Also, no recycling.
