Warm and pleasant

Liked: Food in restaurant was excellent.
Disliked: Hot water takes a while to arrive at the taps and shower, but to be fair the guys in the restaurant told us this the night before.

Brilliant place to stay and...

Liked: Spotless and well presented rooms like new but the jewel in the crown was the restaurant just down the corridor. We’ve travelled a lot and this was one of the best Indian meals we have ever had. The staff were also amazing and friendly.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The breakfast was awful. The management needs to visit a few rival hostels and discover what a full English breakfast is. The room was passable, although I couldn't get any hot water. Glad I only booked for one night.

Disappointing

Liked: Staff were very pleasant & it was near enough to a event we were attending in Tenterden
Disliked: The bathroom was a real issue, it is quite small.There is no shelf to place a toilet bag so it had to sit on the floor!!The shower ran hot & cold intermittently so not pleasant.Albeit there is an extractor fan in the bathroom it is not efficient as once you had a shower the walls were running with water & the room stayed wet & damp so towels didn’t dry & they were thin towels.They obviously have a problem with their drains as the smell coming up was foul, you could not be in the room for long nor leave the door open.There was facilities in the room of tea/coffee & water but strangely no hairdryer & I had to ask for one, however this was given to me immediately.The room is very small & a small double bed & as our room was beside their restaurant we heard staff On the move constantly.Sadly albeit the staff were friendly we would not stay here again.

Liked: Very welcoming lovely staff. Good location .staff kindly helped with luggage .Comfortable room and beds. Very quiet too. !!. Tea and coffee,biscuits in room and bottles of water .
Disliked: The one problem we found was we had no hot water! Did report it and was told water took a while to come through. Unfortunately left water running for ages but nothing. Tried shower in the morning but still no hot water. . We were only staying the one night and we are quite adaptable people so used kettles. Hope they can get sorted . ( Room 17) Because a nice place to stay!!
