Disliked: Had to get used to street noice at night, but it was manageable.

The view and location made...

Liked: The location of the Hotel couldn’t have been better. It is in the heart of Banff mainstreet. The rooms are nice, a little hot but there were fans and we could open the window. We even got a free parking space that was underground and super safe.
Disliked: For us it was expensive for the service that we got. The people in the receptionists were barely there and hade headphone in the few times we saw them. They don’t serve breakfast so it was a little of a hassle to figure out what to eat if you don’t want to eat out 3 times a day.

Unbeatable location with lovely staff...

Liked: Can’t beat the location, with secure parking in the centre of Banff. Really friendly and helpful staff. Room had everything we needed.
Disliked: It is very warm in the room. We knew that there was no air con, so we were prepared. But even on cooler days, the room gets hot.

Liked: Location was great, and reasonable price
Disliked: There were a host of issues - the staff never brought an iron that was requested (needed for a wedding), the free parking was full even though I arrived mid-week, but worse among them is that they have installed remote-control lighting fixtures that are on the same remote as adjacent rooms, so my ceiling light would randomly turn on at all times of night - when I'd try to turn it off it would start a chain reaction of lights turning on-off in other nearby rooms.Also, the lack of air conditioning wouldn't be an issue, except that there are many bars around, so with the window open you'll hear a lot of noisy drunk people yelling on the street until 1AM.
