Good but not clean enough....

Liked: Location was centrally located but the property is in a secluded area.
Disliked: Some common areas such as elevators are dated

Liked: Our prebooked room was not available when we arrived after a 20 hour flight from Australia. We booked 2 beds in a room (twin) but the hotel oversold the rooms for the Beyonce concert. We asked for them to make up the sofa bed which took a long time and when we went to room to sleep there was only a fitted sheet on sofa bed and a old crinkled blanket, no pillows, no top sheet, no bed cover/duvet. We had to ask for that and never got it, just a couple of pillows. The staff seemed to think we were asking too much for our booked and paid for room and seemed to think we should be happy with the sofa bed with no sheets. Pretty disappointing as we really wanted to like this hotel. After having to persist and argue for some kind of solution we were offered $40 off the hotel room and eventually we managed 50% discount off night one. We were moved to our normal twin room the next day which was fine and pleasant but there is NO water pressure in the room on floor 8. Just a dribble coming out of shower and tap in sink. Couldnt wash hair. Didnt want to complain anymore so we just put up with it for the remaining 5 days of the business trip. Would have to stay elsewhere next time.

Liked: The size of the room was wonderful. Comfort of the bed was amazing. The staff were friendly.
Disliked: This hotel boasts being pet friendly, but that is NOT true. We have traveled with our service animal all over Europe with first having a bed and bowl provided for us in the room. None of that was in our room. Second, we have been welcomed in the hotel restaurants and breakfast rooms with our service animal, that is not the case at this hotel. Knowing that we had a service animal, we were told we would have to eat outside. And.... I was not offered a welcome beverage like other guests.

Liked: This property perfect! We decided to stay there for our little staycation. The staff was professional and friendly. Christian was great! Our room had a view of the city. The hotel’s amenities were a plus too!
Disliked: Everything was great.
