Exceptional

Good hotel but I expected...

Liked: We were upgraded after a delay in check in due to a power flicker rebooting their computers. The hotel, lobby, pool, and rooms were well designed. Bed was comfortable. Shower water was hot with great pressure. Staff was friendly. There was an umbrella and yoga mat in room.
Disliked: Signage to find hotel was poor, valet parking was understaffed and pricey ($55 for one night), the inside of drawers and cabinets had not been cleaned/checked as I found crumbs, bottle caps, a key card holder, and a travel jewelry box with a gold ring in it that I promptly turned in to Security. There was a flashlight in a drawer-a first!-but it did not work.The HVAC unit was not working when we checked in. Engineering came while we were out and while the temperature dropped from 76 to 74 degrees, either the unit was undersized or they did not fully fix it. The Front Desk was understaffed, the Lobby coffee/tea bar was not kept stocked Sunday morning and the Lobby fruit water was empty most of Saturday evening. No coffee maker in room unless requested, so they really should be on top of their Lobby drinks service.

Liked: My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay! The staff welcomed us and we immediately headed to the complimentary Happy Hour which was a nice touch. Our room came with a nice view and it was very clean. My only con ( which is very minor) the hotels driveway is not that large so valet was a little challenging and took some time. Other than that I highly recommend this hotel, even for a short staycation. :)

Liked: The property was absolutely amazing. We didn’t know there was valet parking ONLY, but it worked out perfectly. During checkin, we were offered Wine and h’orderves. Our rooms were very nice and clean! Comfortable king bed! Fully stocked fridge! (Expensive things though) The rooftop was very nice! The restaurant’s food was as exceptional ! And the drinks! What I love..is that we were minutes away from everything.

Disliked: Cold water shower and literally hundreds of non hotel guests taking over all facilities...valet parking impossible...two nightclubs in hotel were packed...totally unacceptable.

Worth it!

Liked: The room was great, dud not like to door to the bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom wasn't that great. The chair in the room needed to be more comfy for reading. The beds were comfortable. The night shift crew was great!! The parking attendance were great, cost too high for parking.
