It would be nice if...

Liked: Convenient and close to restaurants, mall, beach and entertainment.
Disliked: Nothing

A great place to stay...

Liked: We really enjoyed the Kimpton, it was a great way to top off our trip to California. The location was great, right across the road from Huntington Beach, and just one street away from Main. The room was fab - very spacious, a couple of armchairs and two very comfortable queen beds, the bathroom also very large. Complimentary beer and wine each evening between 5-6pm which was a nice touch, in the internal courtyard which was a lovely place to hang out in. The adjoining cafe and bar were really lovely, and the hotel provides beach chairs, towels and umbrellas for trips to the beach which was very welcome!
Disliked: The only gripe is the terminology around Ocean View rooms online which is quite misleading. In fact the rooms only have an ocean view if you stand on one side of the small balcony and crane your head around the corner. They do have Ocean Front rooms which do more of what they say on the tin. Perhaps the Ocean Views should be renamed Partial Ocean View to alleviate any confusion. Our in-laws who we were travelling with had the same issue.

The place to stay in...

Liked: Can’t beat the location! Great restaurant. Cool, surfy image. Table tennis, coffee, wine, water free. Free parking around the corner on 6th street.
Disliked: All good!

Dog friendly,hip ,beach was across...

Liked: Beautiful ocean front room. Very dog friendly. Drinks from 5-6 were a blast. Everyone had their dog(those with dogs) and just had beer or wine and hung out. Fun ping pong and outdoor areas.
Disliked: It was expensive

Enjoyable and and very accessible...

Liked: Overall good location and access
Disliked: Had minor issues with shower / plumbing

This place was great but...

Liked: Location is amazing and the restaurant is so good! It’s very clean and the staff is super nice. Courtyard is so nice and they offer stuff to make s’mores over the fires there.
Disliked: No coffee in rooms and they are very small. Beds are so hard, for over $300 a night I expected more. Paid extra for a balcony and it was small and useless.

Great family hotel close to...

Liked: We loved this hotel! Quick walk to the beach and Huntington Beach pier. Main street with all the shops and restaurants very close by. This was a great family hotel that offered s'mores kits to be used at the hotel's fire pits each night, a ping pong table, and other games. Free drinks each night and beach amenities available to borrow also. We would definitely go back.
