Would definitely stay again; great location in Cleveland; walking distance to many bars and restaurants and shops.
Liked: Cute rooms; staff takes great care of the guests.
Disliked: Mini fridge in our room stopped working - some food went bad.

First time stay at Kimpton
Liked: This hotel is centrally located in the downtown area. Entertainment and plenty of food choices are within walking distance. The Jack Casino, Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Playhouse Square and even the Rock n? Roll Hall of Fame are within walking distance as well.The entire staff is incredibly helpful and attentive to their guests. Complimentary coffee is offered in the AM and there?s also a wine hour between 5-6pm nightly where they offer guests a complimentary glass of wine. There is no complimentary breakfast offered however, Betts restaurant is located right off the lobby. The gathering areas are cozy complete with a fireplace and social distancing is maintained. While we didn?t bring any of our pets, the hotel is a pet friendly establishment. Don?t let that deter you though...we had a few rooms on our floor with pets and we heard no barking/noises the entire time. Rooms with pets will have a sign on the door so other guests are aware. The hotel also offers a valet service available 24/7, an attendant is present to get your car at any hour. If you prefer not to pay the valet fees there are parking structures ($10/day) around the corner from the hotel.The room was a pretty good size and I would have to say our favorite feature was the incredibly huge shower! Our bathroom was very spacious with two separate vanities. The bed itself and pillows were very comfortable and soft. It?s always a toss up with some hotels because the bed can be hard or the pillows are very thin and no support. Overall we would stay at this hotel again. Our Valentine weekend was relaxing and enjoyable. I usually take some pictures of our room but unfortunately I didn?t this time.
Disliked: I wouldn?t say it was something we ?didn?t like? however the morning of our second day at the hotel we noticed that the floor was damp on one side of the bed and my husbands pillow had a dried brown stain on it. Luckily, it was the pillow he didn?t sleep on and had sat on the floor next to the bed. Knowing that we hadn?t spilled anything we thought perhaps the damp floor was from shoes being wet from snow but had no idea how the pillow got a stain. When we contacted the front desk they promptly responded and apologized They stated that they had the issue before when their linen press over-steamed but it was caught by housekeeping. They replaced the pillow and had someone check out the room while we were out (with our permission) and it turned out to be a small issue with an HVAC that caused the damp floor. The floor was cleaned and dried during the time we were out for the day. The staff was on top of this from the beginning and it did not ruin our stay. They took care of our valet parking, provided a $150 credit to our stay, gave us a bottle of wine, and a huge bottle of shampoo (The Alter shampoo is awesome!). I will state we are totally not those people who complain just to complain-we simply wanted to make them aware of the stain and that we did not spill anything to cause stains. I would describe this as a minor flaw with the particular room we were staying (room 319) and is definitely something they were on top of immediately and could be fixed. This was definitely not a situation that would hinder our family from staying here again. As with your own home mechanical/maintenance issues happen. I am simply applauding the staff for the lengths they went to as some hotels would not have gone to that height of customer care. We appreciated everything they did to correct the situation.

Liked: We were given a corner room with a bathtub and it was great. Everyone was super helpful our entire stay
Disliked: My only complaint would be room service came in togo containers. I've never stayed here so I can't be sure if that is attributed to Covid or if its normal for this hotel. But the containers were soggy, would've preferred to have it plated.

Liked: The customer service was excellent!!Betts restaurant has great food, drinks, and again the customer service! Was in a great location!!And the valet was prompt, and everyone works so hard there!!!The room was clean, we had complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us, and we love the lobby, and the wine samples also!!We are definitely going back!!
Disliked: Everything was great!!

Exceptional
Liked: One of the few rooms in Cleveland that still has a bathtub. Great view. Good restaurant we could order delivery to the room which was very tasty, timely and reasonably priced. Staff available and accommodating and respectful of COVID.
Disliked: Parking is a bit pricey!
