Good view; arrived about 2 hours early and was allowed to check in which was nice; good walking location to see all of Portland.

Liked: Love the river location. Rooms are large. Restaurant is great! And $2 oysters for happy hour! And pet friendly.
Disliked: No free breakfast. Annoying music thumping somewhere kept me awake.

Disappointing service in what could...
Liked: Good location, comfortable. Accepts pets.
Disliked: We arrived at check in time, 4 pm, and there was a long line to the check in line. When it finally was our time to check in we were told it would still be 1 hour for our room to be ready, which was an unexpected situation since we had a large dog with us and were tired and wanting to relax in our room. This was on new year's eve with no possibility of finding another hotel. They offered us a credit to their restaurant, which was enough to buy a couple of drinks and some food. The room was comfortable and clean although a bit dated. When we decided to have dinner later on we found out the restaurant closed at 10 pm on New Year's Eve, which was disappointing. Next morning we left without having breakfast, so we cannot review that. We checked out, reviewed our bill and everything was ok. A few days later we found a small charge of $8 in the CC used. When we contacted the hotel via Booking.com, we were told it was for something consumed in the minibar. We told them we absolutely did not consume that and asked them to refund the charge. Since our message was ignored by the hotel, we contacted the CC company and finally received a message from the hotel confirming they had refunded that charge. It was disappointing that we had to contact our CC company to solve such a small charge issue that after all of this, did not feel like it would have been solved otherwise.
