Great comfy hotel in perfect...

Liked: Great location - just north of Boston Common so easy access to the main area of Boston and also over to Faneuil Hall. Staff great and friendly and we had a large comfy room with city views. Asked for a kettle that they provided with tea bags. Used the restaurant twice which was really good as well.
Disliked: Could do with some USB ports in the room and none of the plus were in the correct place - otherwise all good.

Centrally located and clean.

Liked: Centrally located and convenient for city centre and transport links
Disliked: Noisy room with whirring fan that could not be stopped and we were told was normal but seemed to be intermittent. Initially no coffee machine in the room and told that only some had them but this was resolved when requested. Very few plug sockets.

Passable

Liked: The location was good. The bar and dining area are good, and so is the food provided.
Disliked: The room, furnishings, bed. There was a lot of construction in the vicinity and common areas. The bathroom and lights, in general, were not up to standard for the price charged. We stayed 3 nights!!!

This AKA property did not...

Liked: Location. Valet attendants were good, we had an issue when we asked the front desk to call the car down when checking out, the front desk did not but still had an okay experience with the valet attendants as they were not informed by front desk.
Disliked: A heads-up that the hotel was under construction before booking would have been great, we would have chosen a different hotel. Front desk/reception experience was lacking. My husband waited 40 minutes at the restaurant on the day we were checking out at around 9:30am. No one waited on him, I went to the front desk to ask if we could check out later than 11am so we could have brunch but they were not flexible. We ended up just packing up and leaving before the 11am checkout.

Liked: Comfortable bed
Disliked: Shower’s water pressure very bad. Staff unfriendly. Lack of lighting in the room. No coffee/ tea facility in the room.

Avoid phone customer service

Liked: Everything was nice including customer service upon check in.
Disliked: Awful service by the phone. Some rude lady couldn’t send me invoice for my stay by email. Still waiting for someone to help me
