Pros of this hotel: Young/hip vibe; location; early check-in accommodated. Cons: Hotel billed us at least a week before with no notice or receipt at time of billing. I had to call to make sure the charge was legitimately from them. Then at check in, also with no notice, they placed a hold of $75 for incidentals? Beware if using a debit card. Shower had no door, only a partition covering about half the shower opening. Water splashed all over the floor. Kind of dangerous. No tub. We could hear neighboring room clearly through a door in the common wall. Room was dark. Not luxurious. More stylish than comfortable - would not recommend for families with young kids for above reasons. Staff friendliness was spotty.

Liked: Location is great. Milwaukee's Third Ward.
Disliked: Shower and hotel billing policy.

Liked: Excellent location, close to shopping and restaurants. The streets and sidewalks are clean and we felt completely safe walking at night. Bonus: this hotel is a 15-20 minute walk to the Summerfest concert venue. We saw a concert there and didn’t have to worry about parking or trying to get an Uber/Lyft.Super Bonus: We went for the weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday and there was a delicious piece of decadent chocolate cake , a bottle of champagne, and a card for him when we arrived in our room.

Liked: Spacious rooms, great ac, comfortable beds, rooftop bar
Disliked: No coffee maker in room, asked for hot water and a cup for tea and room service brought me a plug in hot water kettle without water or a cup.

Liked: Perfect location & extremely friendly staff!I appreciate the bath robes and make up mirror.Attentive valet & bellhop.
Disliked: The right closet door did not open, it was stuck so we were unable to access the safe.We reported the issue however no repair was made, but we were only at the hotel 1 night.

Pretty hotel but missing standard...

Liked: It’s pretty and the roof top is beautiful. It is close to the summerfest area where where we were headed.
Disliked: It was too expensive for the small size of the room given.i had asked for a microwave , fridge and coffee maker which seemed odd to have to ask for these items as they are usually standard in most hotels . As it turned out they do not provide coffee makers in the room. And there was no microwave as I requested and was told would be in the room.All in all I think the hotel should focus less on dogs and nursing mothers and remember to address standard needs of the general public staying at the hotel.
