Jeanne, Anchorage, visiting The Triple Door

The Monaco Hotel is a great getaway spot, but it also serves as a great launch for your Downtown Seattle experience. The hotel is within walking distance to Pike Street Pier fun, and to lot's of shopping choices. We loved the friendly front desk staff, and the atmosphere of the hotel. This hotel has great "extras" - such as bicycle rentals, pet friendly, and an evening happy hour. The only disappointment we had was the Sazerac Restaurant attached to the hotel. We had lunch on Friday and breakfast on Saturday and were extremely disappointed at both meals. The service was marginal and the food was terrible. We won't eat there again until they do a total overhaul. Bottom line is stay at the Hotel Monaco but dine at another restaurant!

Liked: Great hotel staff.
Disliked: Attached restaurant - Sazerac.

Solid stay at the Monaco!

Liked: Very friendly to our pets! Nice accommodating staff. Great experience.
Disliked: The hotel is under construction but the room looked good. No windows in the rooms and the A/C didn't seem to get too cold.

DON'T BOOK THIS PLACE

Liked: There was nothing good about the place, and I honestly have no idea how it's rated as a 4-star hotel.
Disliked: They didn’t properly provide the amenities and kept lying to us, saying they would bring them but made us wait. The bedroom was very dirty. It was a complete waste of money, time, and emotions.

Disappointing

Liked: Honestly, it wasn't what I was expecting, and for it being under renovation, the price was ridiculous. The staff was slow to make accommodations and listening to construction while trying to sleep was awful.
Disliked: There was plenty to dislike missing remotes for the t.v. Having to listen to construction in the middle of the night and early morning. Asking for help repeatedly. It was a disappointment especially because it was a birthday get away.
