Very good hotel close to...

Liked: Very handy for Union Station as we travelled from New York by train. Also close to many of the attractions.Many of the city tours start and end at Union station. Staff were very helpful.

Our stay was very disappointing.

Liked: The hotel's location was great, and the front desk staff were very friendly.
Disliked: The room was smaller than depicted in the photos, and the parking situation is misleading because I didn't see anywhere on the site where it advised that the parking was $60 or $30 if you parked in the lot across the street. We had 6 adults, and the pull-out sofa was horrible, no, I don't think horrible even describes it. This shouldn't even be offered as a sleeping option. We didn't have enough towels, and the remote control didn't work to turn up/down the volume. After all the sightseeing the city has to offer, we just wanted to come back and have a nice relaxing night's sleep, and that just didn't happen. We were also only notified of the restaurant being under construction at the time of arrival.

Disliked: No restaurant or bar. They did provide coffee and a small breakfast offering in the morning however there is nothing available at all after that

Great location; Irish dinner around...

Liked: Comfortable bed, great location for capital.
Disliked: Some paint details around halls/elevators were a bit sloppy.

Excellent Stay and Location, Minor...

Liked: The stay was splendid, and the hotel is very well located. We spent two nights at the Kimpton George Hotel in Washington, D.C. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spectacular. The service was top-notch.
Disliked: The only aspect that I believe could be improved is the breakfast area. The breakfast itself was somewhat limited, and there were not enough tables to sit comfortably. There are some sofas, but there is nowhere to place your coffee, making the space for having your morning coffee quite uncomfortable

Disliked: You cannot call that a breakfast. Pièces of art around the hotel are a shame. Please do better. Sure there is local affordable talented artists.
