Liked: Lovely room, good location and great pool, sauna etc.
Disliked: Water pressure in shower insufficient and shower being in bath hard to access for elderly

Lovely and relaxing

Liked: There was a problem with our booking so we ended up getting a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite. It was like a one bedroom flat and was enormous. There was a complimentary free mini bar, tea, coffee machine, ghd hair straiteners and hairdryer, iron and ironing board and complimentary toiletries. The location is right at the top of George street so was handy for all shops, restaurants and bars around the George street, rose street and princes street areas. There was a wee bit of noise from public coming away at night, bit of singing etc but nothing that kept you awake for long. There was also complimentary water and drinks in the public areas.
Disliked: Breakfast was a wee bit disappointing for a hotel of this status. It was the usual buffet style with plenty of choice and it was all fresh. There was also the usual cereals, fruit, fruit salad, breads, yoghurt etc. I was just surprised that it wasn’t waiter service which you would expect in a hotel like this. The staff were lovely though and got refills for tea and coffee for us and did ask if we needed anything else.

Liked: We had an internal facing room and with the window open ( slightly) we had air-conditioning noise filter through at night . No Noise if closed... We prefer an open window to using Aircon at night so this was not ideal.We have visited a few times before and find it a pity that breakfast was moved from the Garden Room to the Baba Restaurant . Now feels commoditised and rushed ... ( Almost as if you want us in and out ) .We will come again ( and again).

Nice Place

Liked: Pricey but nice didn`t get there till late in the evening due to missing my train so did not get chance to use the facilities
