Convenient for show but way...

Liked: Very clean
Disliked: Too expensive, I really don’t see how the cost can be justified. Also rather dated in terms of room decor.

Liked: The ambience of the hotel, the bedroom was extremely comfortable and the turn down service was a very nice touch. The staff were welcoming and more than happy to help and advise as necessary. The food was of a high quality and beautifully served. The breakfast offerings were excellent.
Disliked: A fridge in the bedroom would be a welcome addition. The bedroom door has a wicked opening mechanism and as you open it to exit it quite fiercly snaps back, takes you by surprise and hurts your wrist.

Lovely but a rather expensive...

Worst stay in Scotland and...

Liked: Interesting to see a grand estate
Disliked: The rooms were sooo hot - no air con and you could only open the window a tiny bit. There was a small fan in the room that was absolutely useless and as hotel guests for two nights we were treated as second class citizens to the theatre guests

Very enjoyable weekend

Liked: Excellent staff, extremely clean and wonderful food.
Disliked: Impossible to control temperature in bedroom
