Kilmurry Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel ideally located just a 5-minute walk from the University of Limerick and the National Technological Park Castletroy. Limerick's vibrant city center is just 10 minutes away. Set among 3 acres of gardens this charming hotel offers guest rooms with power showers free WiFi access complimentary onsite parking and full Irish breakfasts. The spacious rooms at the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel also feature TVs hairdryers and irons. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided in all guest rooms and there are complimentary newspapers available each morning at reception. Nelligan's Bar & Restaurant operates daily serving a menu for both lunch and dinner. All dishes are made from locally sourced and fresh produce. An extensive buffet breakfast is served in the Kilmurry Suite each morning. Castletroy Golf Club is less than a 5-minute drive away and a city center bus service is available outside the front of the hotel. Shannon International Airport is just 20-minutes via car with easy access to Cork and Dublin via the new motorways. The Kilmurry Lodge Hotel is a nonsmoking hotel and this policy is strictly enforced. A minimum penalty of EUR 150 will be imposed on guests found to be in breach of this policy. Early check-in or late check-out requests are charged from EUR 10 per hour and are subject to availability. When booking 5 rooms or more different policies and additional supplements will apply. This property does not accept cash payments. A valid credit card is required upon check-in for all bookings including prepaid bookings. Pleasant

Liked: The restaurant was fantastic, food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean.
Disliked: Room decor was outdated and rooms very basic. As I was traveling for work this wouldn’t bother me however, the noise on the corridor throughout the night, doors opening and closing until after 3am, kept me awake most of the night. I’m not sure if the walls are just extremely thin or if the people on the corridor were running wild all night but it lead to a very bad nights sleep and I wouldn’t return based on how much corridor noise I could hear from my room.

We went for a gig...

Disliked: The bathroom was a little shabby. There was a rubber seal hanging off the shower door. The paint was peeling off the bottom of the bathroom door. The window in the room was covered in hand and fingerprints and clearly hadn't been cleaned before our arrival. We booked a 3 night stay, there were only 3 teabags for the 2 of us. Might seem very small issues but nonetheless it isn't a cheap hotel. Some of the communal areas inside the hotel were in our opinion better kept than the room itself. We believe the rooms are being refurbished at the moment so that's maybe why but we were put in room 514 which is almost the furthest away from the reception area and the hotel wasn't by any means full.
