The Spotlight on Killington Mountain Lodge

Cozy Mountain Lodge Near Vibrant Vermont Music Spots

Located just minutes from Killington Mountain and surrounded by the scenic Vermont outdoors, Killington Mountain Lodge blends rustic charm with modern comforts. Part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, this lodge-style hotel offers a relaxed, welcoming vibe with woodsy decor, a year-round outdoor hot tub, and inviting communal spaces like the shared lounge and terrace. Whether you're hitting the slopes or catching a show nearby, it’s a comfortable and convenient spot to call home base.

Why Concert-goers love it

Concert fans love this lodge for its peaceful mountain setting that’s still within easy driving distance of local venues. With 24-hour front desk service and late 12:00 PM checkout, you won’t feel rushed after a night out. The quiet surroundings make it easy to unwind, and the outdoor hot tub stays open year-round—perfect for a post-show soak under the stars.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a cabin-style getaway with concert access
  • Solo travelers seeking a cozy, low-key stay
  • Couples making a romantic weekend of music and mountains
  • Fans wanting a quieter post-concert recovery space away from downtown noise
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want Hilton quality

Food and Drink Options

The lodge features an on-site bar and offers a continental breakfast each morning—ideal after a late night out. While there’s no full-service restaurant on-site, Killington Road has several walkable dining options for hearty meals or snacks before and after your event. Room service is limited, so plan ahead if you're craving a midnight bite.

Nightlife Options

Though the lodge itself doesn’t host live music, it’s close to several local bars and pubs that do. The on-site bar is a laid-back space for a nightcap, and you'll find a good selection of Vermont craft beers. If you're in the mood to keep the night going, nearby hotspots along Killington Road are just a short drive or rideshare away.

What People Say

Guests rave about the friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, and the mountain views. The outdoor hot tub is a fan favorite, especially after long days (or nights). Reviewers also love the central location for accessing slopes, trails, and music events, and mention the welcoming lounge area as a great place to relax with friends.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note the rustic decor could use a refresh, and that soundproofing between rooms isn’t perfect—but that’s typical of a lodge-style property. Also, while the continental breakfast is appreciated, a few visitors wished for more variety or hot options.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to a concert near Killington and want a scenic, restful stay with hot tub perks and late checkout, Killington Mountain Lodge is a warm, budget-friendly choice.

DISAPPOINTING

Liked: bed was comfortable
Disliked: bathroom in disrepair running tub faucet, bathroom door warped and wouldn't close, heat unit would squeak when on and woke us up . maintenance guy was bartender due to lack of staff and did not know how to make a drink and basically nothing in glass. no starbuck station opened downstairs. its just there doing nothing, no breakfast buffet as that area is under refurbishment.

Very poor

Liked: Location
Disliked: Hot tub was lukewarm, shower was lukewarm they sold reservation to about 20 highschoolers that were sprinting around the floor, throwing snowballs in the hotel, screaming yelling and banging on the walls could not sleep the first night at all. Stayed at this resort once before with zero problems and loved it this time couldn’t overstate how bad it was.
