Welcome to Kilkenny House Boutique Hotel! We've recently undergone a complete renovation of the property and are excited to welcome guests back to the hotel. We are a family-run hotel located either 20-minutes' walk or 4-minute drive from the city center. The hotel is also directly across from the Kilkenny City bus route which runs every 30 minutes into the heart of the city. We provide ample free parking to guests. Right opposite St Luke's General Hospital this boutique hotel offers newly refurbished chic and traditional rooms. All of the rooms have the usual facilities as well as free wifi and 40'' smart TV's so you can binge on your favorite shows. Feel free to draw up a stool and enjoy a drink with the locals in Dore's bar which offers a friendly service and bar food daily.

Liked: We loved Kilkenny house Hotel. The staff were very friendly. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and very good value for money. It was a 20 minute walk into the city but flat easy walking. Highly recommend stay at this gem.

Lovely stay

Great little hotel highly recommend

Liked: Staff are friendly and helpful. Good location is good, short stroll to city centre. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Overall great little place.
Disliked: No air conditioning in room, was a tad bit warm (although AC may not be much of a thing over here?)

nice hotel in a convenient...

Liked: The hotel is very conveniently located on the outskirts of town, but still within the walking distance to the centre. There is also a bus stop near by, if walking is not an option.The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Good-sized and modern bathroom.Staff were very helpful and warm.
Disliked: Even though the room was recently(ish) decorated, the paint was chipped in few places, which slightly spoiled the look.The bar, downstairs, could do with more inspiring selection of drinks, e.g. few more Irish whiskies etc.Things like air-con, safe etc. would be a bonus, but these weren't essential, so fair enough.
