Okay in Kilkenny

Liked: Close to city but not in it. Good road access and excellent off-street parking.Reasonably large room.Attractive premises with potential to add stars.Pleasant bar with good seating arrangements and TV coverage.
Disliked: Had 3 evening meals in bar (no separate restaurant in the evening); two good meals, third night meal served with lukewarm warm or cold vegetables.Room TV service awful; analogue only; 5 mediocre to rubbish channels. Some streaming possible but mostly "entertainment" channels.Staff response to observations and enquiries was a "that's the way it is" and an implied shrug. Otherwise, staff (bar, breakfast room) were excellent.No fridge.
