Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel

Good location but not particularly...

Liked: Great location in town and close to our sightseeing activities. Hotel fixed our broken shower quickly.
Disliked: Small room with dated amenities. Lack of outlets on both sides of bed and very warm room (no ac and ineffective fans). Shower also broke the first morning.

Liked: Close proximity to everything and the parking garage
Disliked: The plug adapters that worked everywhere else in Ireland do not work here, they did, however, provide us an extension cord/multi plug that we could use, upon request

Central spot, hard to beat...

Liked: Staff are excellent, location is v central, car park one minute walk away. The bar is cosy. Ember restaurant v nice too. Staff are excellent at their jobs. Hotel has an old fashioned charm to it.
Disliked: Because of its location and it's not the hotels fault you can hear noise from near by large bar, just one of those things but it's fine. The location is so good though so central to lovely restaurants and shops.

Liked: It was a beautiful hotel. It was in the City Center and walking distance to the castle, cathedral and churches. Great restaurants all around. Live music in the pub was very good.
