Very good

Liked: I loved the location & the pod mattresses were very comfortable. It had lots of storage space and nice, welcoming social spaces. Very clean!
Disliked: As expected from a hostel, it was quite noisy and there were lots of people coming and going at all hours. Although, that's not the fault of the hostel, more just the nature of staying in shared accommodation. One thing that was quite annoying was the heat inside the pods!! It's the summer, but it's Edinburgh. You don't expect that much heat! It was quite difficult to sleep with little to no ventilation. Would be great if there was a way of cooling the room down in the summer months.

Superb

Liked: Location was close to all the attractions and food places. Room and washroom was relatively cleaner than other hostels. All supplies and amenities were available.
Disliked: When I went to check in, there were two staff. One of them let us in and had started to check us in. A different one came rushing and took over. Drum rolls because he could barely speak. He was super drunk. Words would literally start at his mouth and wouldn’t even come out properly. I had to ask him everything twice. It might be on CCTV if there was any in that room. I almost didn’t want to check in but it was around 12 AM at that point so had to. Not a safe feeling. He can drink, for all I care, but let the sober guy do the job when there are two people.

Disliked: The atmosphere was a little sterile and it was so expensive
