Kew Gardens Hotel

Overall a lovely stay and so close to Kew gardens, 5-10 min walk away also tesco etc just down the road

Liked: Check in staff very good, nice bar and outdoor garden
Disliked: Breakfast staff very poor, very slow service, waited 40 mins and had to ask twice where the breakfast was. people who came down after us were checking out by the time we came out of breakfast!!No milk in room for the hot drinks. Parking a nightmare nearby if you arrive before midday as it is permit holders only on nearly all roads nearby

Adequate hotel for a short...

Liked: Staff were friendly when they were present, (reception was unmanned every time we went in or out which didn’t bother us but it may some people).Location is excellent for travel around London and Kew town bit has everything you could need.This hotel could be so much more with where it’s located!
Disliked: The stairs were very limiting for my 70 year old mum and her travel bags. There is no lift.The rooms are very tired, they look nothing like the images. Not a working window blind across 2 rooms, no air con, and windows won’t open far enough to let any air in. Fans were provided but no one wants to sleep with those whizzing all night!!Bathroom was very small and limited with no where to put anything, no shelves or vanity unit. Bed was big and comfortable, wardrobe available and table stands by the bed.The hotel is on the flight path to the airport and a road so if you want peace and quiet this is not the place for you - this didn’t bother us but it’s worth pointing out for some.Restaurant was ok, menu very limited if you have an allergy rather than an ethical belief, and be prepared for a wait if it’s busy. We had breakfast in town rather than at the hotel so cannot comment on that.

Great pub hotel

Liked: Lovely pub hotel in a lovely area 5 mins from tube. Great food, my mother would have fed a family on the breakfast! Character everywhere, 10 foot ceilings in the rooms, proper furniture. Staff were great.
Disliked: Bit noisy from the road and Heathrow, but bearable.

Good hotel, excellent location ,...

Liked: The location of the hotel was perfect , on the bus route into Richmond, 2 minutes from the tube for central London and just 2 minutes to Kew Gardens
Disliked: The rooms in the hotel were very tired , needs a good overhaul ..the rooms were a good size with good facilities.However, there was no ventilation in the bathroomThe rooms were too hotThe whole hotel including bar and restaurant need a complete redecorationLimited restaurant menu
