Nothing bad to say about it - everything was good. Nice place to stay.

Summer stay - OU lab...

Liked: The outside area was nice, free parking, the dining area was also good. The room was a bit small, but it was ok! 10min walking from OUStaff was friendly Breakfast was included and it was ok
Disliked: The room and bathroom were not very clean. In one of the days was quite hot and the air con in the dining area was off, which made the place feel like a green house.The water in the shower was super hot, hot, warm and lukewarm, the water temperature fluctuated

Liked: The staff and room were excellent.
Disliked: I decided to stay in for a meal in the evening. I have to say £22 was a bit much for what amounted to a school dinner.

Disliked: The rooms were far too hot and although a fan was provided it didn't help much trying to sleep

Liked: The location was perfect for the purpose of my stay the food was nice
Disliked: Very disorganised I was brought to a room and there was a brown substance in the bath and when I went to reception for a new room I was given an unmade room and when I went to reception to get a new room one staff member was very kind but another staff member was very rude towards me which I felt was unnecessary in general the rooms were not clean in my opinion the carpets had quite a lot of stains on it in general the rooms were disgusting the sheets were atrocious I saw hair on and blood stains on the sheets other then that the hotel was in quite a good location for me besides the one staff member most of the staff were nice but I have to say it was not a very welcoming environment in my opinion if I could have booked another hotel and left I would have I only stayed because my stay was so short I didn’t see the point sadly I do not have any photo proof of this but I wish I did take photos for how awful the rooms were

Pleasant

Liked: Reception staff were very friendly and helpful
Disliked: The room was very warm. There was a fan provided, but we weren't keen on having it on all night The que for breakfast was ridiculously long. We decided not to bother and ended up going to the nearby Harvester for breakfast instead

Exceptional

It did the job.

Liked: It did the job, so we had somewhere to sleep for our trip to Milton Keynes for a festival
Disliked: Our booking said to arrive for check in for 2. We got there at 3, giving the hotel an extra hour to have anything prepped for us arriving, however we got there and checked in by 3:30 to be told we needed to wait till 3:45 to go into our room as it had not been made or cleaned yet. At 3:30 you haven’t cleaned your rooms?!!! We then continued to wait AN HOUR after asking reception twice for someone to make our bed as we had travelled 3 hours and just wanted our room. We also were not told any information from reception about dinner, or the fact that the club was a huge group of people who took up majority of the dinner and breakfast due to queuing for food, so we missed out on our included breakfast and dinner due to this. Did not get any money worth for food here, extortionate prices for such little selection.
