Disliked: It claims to be a 4 star property but the hotel was grubby and had stains everywhere.

Liked: Good food, polite and effective staff with good service. "Room" or cottage in the garden light and modern with all facilities. Probably the best shower of our trip.Generally good and worth a stay if you are in the area.
Disliked: Not much to pick on. Slight glitch with the room prep, but then we were a bit early for check-in.

Liked: The grounds and staff were excellent, and the food was outstanding, unfortunately quite a long wait for our main after our starter.
Disliked: The lock on the property was a pain and was sticking, and the little bin in the lounge was filthy. Also, the grouting in the bathroom was not that clean. It could do with some updating and the outside furniture was not in good condition.

Liked: Lovely stay for 2 nights, the room was fab and having a fridge was great. We ate in restaurant one night and though a bit expensive the food was fabulous. Very dog friendly, too.

Liked: Fantastic lodge in beautiful setting. Very comfortable and high spec
Disliked: Jets on hot tub didn't work and no one at reception could help. Extra charge for dog which isn't clear in booking details

Liked: Breakfast was really lovely and freshly cooked. The breakfast were absolutely amazing and very friendly staff . I had lovely conversations with a certain member of the breakfast staff. She was suberb. We had one evening meal there which was also lovely.
Disliked: The housekeeping staff were definitely not up to the standard of 4* accommodation. We arrived to having no pillow cases on the half made bed. Which was appalling as we couldn't get into the property until 4pm anyway. Second day we went out for the day to return to NO housekeeping being done at all. No bed made, dirty towels not collected with NO clean ones left. Dirty tea cups still on the side and NOT any clean ones. We had to go to reception to ask for all this to be done.. Which was then done whilst we were in our accommodation.. Shocking..!!!!
