The room was very nice; the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it; the pillow's were firm yet soft, it consumed me. If I was to travel there again, I will definitely stay there.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Check in and out was easy; the bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. It was super close to Kent Stage and the town was great; everything was in walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I ever find myself in Kent again, I would stay here!

Good Location, Clean, but Left...

Liked: Stayed here while visiting Cuyahoga. Clean, good location - multiple bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, Kent State not far away (probably better off driving though), easy check-in, restaurant smelled good (didn't eat there) and menu looked solid. Convenient drop off area out front at 8 pm on a Friday.
Disliked: Noise - dog barking at 2 am first night room adjacent (hotel didn't appear full either) and running footsteps at 2 am the next in the room above. A stiff King bed that made you feel any movement your partner made and vice versa. Shower door missing molding allowing it to leak (flood) onto the bathroom floor. Coffee at the front desk is terrible - I'd be embarrassed if I were the (from Ohio) roaster to know my coffee was being served that way. Parking also frustrating - "event" parking $10, but hotel parking $13.50. Checkout on a Sunday at 11 am was a bit of a clown show in terms of finding a place to bring the car near the hotel.

Liked: Love the hotel, the staff, accommodations were wonderful, and convenient to downtown! Our son is attending Kent State University, so we always look forward to staying here when we come to visit.

Excellent and comfortable stay. Met...

Liked: The breakfast was great. We had a suite and it was perfect for gathering in. The front desk people were very accommodating and helpful getting several of us checked in under different names. Great spot for going to the Kent Stage.
Disliked: I would have like a more loungey kind of bar.
