Modern, affordable, and ideally located, the Kensington Court Hotel is a 3-star stay in the heart of Earl's Court. Just a 5-minute walk from the Earl's Court Underground Station, this hotel combines quiet comfort with quick access to London’s top entertainment venues and attractions. With free WiFi throughout and a continental breakfast served daily, it’s a practical base for fans heading out to catch a live show.

Why Concert-goers love it

The Kensington Court Hotel puts you within easy reach of some of London’s most iconic concert halls and music venues, including the nearby Olympia London. Being just a few minutes from the Tube means you can get to gigs across the city quickly, even late at night. The neighborhood is relatively calm, offering a quieter retreat after a high-energy night out. Check-in starts at 14:00 and check-out is at 11:00, giving you time to sleep in a bit after a late show.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends wanting an affordable base near the action
  • Solo travelers chasing iconic shows in the city
  • Couples making a music-filled weekend of it
  • Fans seeking a quiet post-concert rest spot

Food and Drink Options

While the hotel doesn’t offer on-site dining beyond the continental breakfast, you're surrounded by local eateries, pubs, and late-night food options within walking distance. The continental buffet is perfect for a quick bite the morning after a gig, especially if you're not quite ready for a full English.

Nightlife Options

Earl’s Court and nearby Kensington High Street offer a solid range of nightlife, from cozy pubs to stylish cocktail bars. Although there’s no bar on-site, you’ll find plenty of spots nearby to grab a pre-show drink or wind down after the encore. Plus, the Tube makes it easy to explore trendier late-night areas like Soho or Camden.

What People Say

Guest reviews highlight the excellent location just minutes from the Tube, the friendly and helpful staff, and the clean, comfortable rooms as major standouts. Many travelers also appreciate the quiet neighborhood and value for money, especially in such a central part of London.

Areas for Improvement

Some reviews mention that the hotel’s decor is a bit dated and the bathrooms are compact. The on-site parking is handy, but limited and comes with an extra fee—so plan ahead if you're driving.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-connected London stay without breaking the bank, Kensington Court Hotel hits the right note.

Disappointing

Liked: Good location
Disliked: Heatwave and no air con in rooms. Unbearably hot at all times. Complained and was given a fan that blew hot air. Breakfast not great. Found egg shells in scrambled egg. Very poor selection

Meet our needs for short...

Liked: The location and friendly reception staff
Disliked: Room are a bit tired looking and breakfast wasn’t up to much. I had phoned before hand to ask if they can cater for gluten free for my son and was told yes they would let the kitchen staff know…. When we arrived all they could offer was a slice of toast and when asked they said this was the only item they could offer.

I would book again...

Liked: We liked the personnel, they were very helpful and the air-conditioned room, which was not huge, but spacy enough for a family of four. Breakfast was very good. The location was perfect for us, quite near to the airport and the city. The nearest subway is Earls Court, which is a very convenient station.
Disliked: Entering the bathroom was not so easy in this room (the door was somehow in the way), but when the door is closed, there is enough room and the facilities were good.

Great for a tourist visit

Liked: Excellent location, great breakfast, good value for money. Comfortable beds. Lots of choices for breakfast. Bathrooms could do some remodelling, but they were clean.
Disliked: Do not recommend it for a business trip - It is kind of hard to get an invoice for your company if you travel for work. It was clearly stated during a reservation that this would be a business trip; however, the staff seemed to be surprised when I asked for an invoice which contains my company's data. I received the invoice in my company's name only after a bit of insisting. Then again, the invoice contained the wrong dates since it was not printed properly (cut-off margins). I asked for the correction via e-mail, and once again, they have sent me an invoice with my private information, instead of my company's information. Asked for a correction again and received no reply yet (and it has been almost 3 weeks since my request). Additionally, Booking.com has a weird policy of giving discounts - they pay the difference in price, and then again, you receive an invoice with an amount different from the one you paid. It gave me a lot of headaches with the administration back at home. In the end, I used Booking.com's confirmation stating they have paid the price difference, along with the confirmation of correct dates. The entire process should have been smoother by the hotel staff responsible for invoicing.
