Pleasant

Liked: Very clean. Good location. Booking process and follow up with staff really quick / helpful.
Disliked: Very noisy fridge - had to turn it off during the night - as it was very loud unfortunately.Couldn't get the room to the right temperature - either too warm / too cold.

Good for a bed over...

Liked: Good for a one night stop in the valley area
Disliked: Rooms were small and not very user friendly, with fridges in the bottom of a cupboard that we couldn’t open without pulling past the door hinge. Enough space around the bed to walk. Parking underneath was $30 for the night and we had to take everything out of the car before parking as it was quite tight. We’d just visited Melbourne and had stayed in a hotel at a similar price that had much more space and utilities. The bathroom had glass panels that were see through to the bedroom so not a lot of privacy if booking as friends.

Budget room, average experience.

Liked: It was close/walking distance to the main shops and train station, but in a quiet location away from hectic noise of the bars. The lady who checked me in at reception was lovely and very helpful.
Disliked: The room was basic and a bit worn down, generally not particularly well maintained or cleaned. The mattress sunk when lying down and was a bit hard. The bathroom was not particularly well cleaned (eg hair on the toilet seat, soap marks on the glass above the sink). The hooks on the edge of curtain had fallen out leaving a gap which the lady at reception fixed. When the room was serviced, a glass that I had used was put back into the cupboard as if it were replaced clean, but it wasn’t. The noise between rooms was minimal, but if others let their room door slam (which it had a natural tendency to do), the entire room/walls shook, and you could hear people talking in the corridor.
