Liked: The building is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated room. The staff is very friendly and the location couldn't be better. It's definitely the best place to stay in Dresden. The hotel is super dog-friendly, offering dog bowls and comfortable dog beds!

Liked: I attended a couple of performances at the Semper Opera and it was only a two minute walk away from the hotel - location absolutely and utterly perfect in that regard, especially for a person traveling solo.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything.

Liked: Majority of the old town buildings are in really easy walking distance. Nothing seemed too stressful. You soon get to know the locations.The Hop On/Off bus tour for €20 is a useful tool. Going around the old Russian blocks of flats and the DDR HQ were the Stasi were in operation all those years ago.The staff were emphatically helpful. Inside the hotel and outside too.The bars and restaurants in the hotel were exceptional. One always got a table; even after a few moments wait.
Disliked: Rain on the Friday.
