Very good

Little sleep

Liked: It was a very nice place to stay .close to NL ferry which was what we needed.the room was very nice , clean little dated but didn't mind it .Bed only issue if mattress was changed would stay there again
Disliked: We didn't get much sleep has the bed mattress sunk in the middle of the bed .Mattress needs to be replaced ASAP. Had to sleep right on the edge off the bed was like falling in a hole .Only issue with the room

Exceptional

Liked: Everything! Great location. The owners were very sweet and helpful. They had made room for us even though they didn't have our reservation.
Disliked: That they bought the place after we made our reservation with the old owners and we weren't notified. So after diving 1200 miles to hear we didn't have a reservation was very upsetting. We also had to pay more then we were expecting for our stay though booking.com.

This booking didn't exist!

Liked: The helpful new owner who found us another place to stay in North Sydney. Why could Booking.com not transfer the existing bookings over to the new owners?
Disliked: Didn't like the fact that this booking didn't exist

Disliked: Our room was cancelled and we were not notified

Liked: Two large beds, portable air conditioner, friendly staff, clean.
Disliked: Hard beds, thin hard pillows, thin towels, noisy fan, one stream shower instead of multiple spray, high water in the toilet bowl. Owners should stay in this unit and experience the bathroom. I am not saying that all units were like this, just ours!

Disappointed with Booking.com lack of...

Liked: We did not get to stay at Kelly's View Motel because booking.com failed to tell us that the hotel was sold and the new owners were not informed of our booking. We had to drive back to Sydney that night to stay at the Holiday Inn Express for double the cost and had to share a room. We booked 2 rooms in Feb 2024 for August 2024. I even received the booking accepted email from Kelly's View Motel. I booked these 2 rooms as we where gathering as a family for the celebration of life for our mother. We were then carrying on the Cabet Trail for a fun vacation.
Disliked: The fact that we fould out when we showed up to check in that we did not have a reservation. Needless to say, this was an unnecessary added stress to our trip as we were buring my mother. I will never use this service again as I have no confidence in their process.I am not angry with the Motel owner as she said this has been an issue with Booking.com since they took over. Get your s@$& together, affecting someone's vacation is not acceptable and important event.

Average motel without ac and...

Liked: Ok location on the way. Good beds. Bathroom was clean and functional. Room had all the normal furnishings one could expect at this price point, including mini fridge.
Disliked: Bathroom door did not latch. No ac was bad on heat wave. Room on the small side. Window mechanism was broken.
