Liked: The breakfast was great. All the staff was very friendly. It was conveniently located and quiet.
Disliked: I had a hard time getting the water warm enough to take a comfortable shower. Finally before I left I couldn’t take it anymore and decided to shower in warm ish water. I turned the water toward the wall and tried not to let it splash me. But after a while it ended up getting warm enough to enjoy.

Liked: I ordered breakfast there was hardly anything when I got there. The power went out twice. I had to change my room due to the remote not working.

Pleasant

Liked: Clean, comfy updated rooms! comfortable beds, with clean linens. Nicely updated! Great location for hopping off and on the interstate for people traveling through! Quite!
Disliked: The online description says nothing about renovation. Was looking forward to a dip in the pool after 10 hours of driving, but the pool was closed for the renovation. Also, the biggest downfall was that our rooms were on the 2nd floor, and they did not have an elevator! My elderly mother in law had a rough time climbing, and they said they had nothing available on the 1st floor. It was also difficult dragging our luggage upstairs. If you are a young, light-packing, healthy person, no problem. I just feel like these are things that should be mentioned online!

Liked: The bed was comfortable. The guys working in lobby was nice.
Disliked: While trying to get ready for our event the electric went out several times. We was charged for a king room and the bed was NOT a king.

Liked: Nothing stood out.
Disliked: Power went out 3 times during our stay. Our room card got messed up and had to be replaced 3 times by the front desk and was given huge attitude by desk attendant. Doorbell didn’t work in the room, stains on carpet.. Sunday morning the hotel had no hot water. Ran the water for 20 mins and decided to take a cold shower bc it never got warm. Sunday morning before leaving we got breakfast and it was the worst experience… we arrived at 9am and were told it was to late to have anything placed out to eat.. attendant wouldn’t even supply us with CUPS. My brother had to drink coffee out of a bowl! While staff watched. An hour into breakfast and it was too late to eat. Refused to make biscuits and gravy, and wouldn’t provide cups for coffee and wouldn’t provide milk or juice. I have photos but it won’t let me upload!

Overall, it was okay but...

Liked: The room rate was cheap and the hotel staff were friendly.
Disliked: The entire building was old and they were doing work on it; it definitely looked a bit run down on the outside but inside was okay. Our room appeared clean. A few negatives: water wasn’t very warm for showers, our power went out twice in the evening, and the breakfast was very underwhelming. The biscuits weren’t burnt and the scrambled eggs looked a bit suspicious.
