Nice budget friendly place to...

Liked: Staff was friendly! We loved borrowing the bikes to ride along the beachwalk. They had live music at night at the restaurant.
Disliked: Self parking was cramped but they did offer complementary valet if needed.

Old Hawaii on the beach.

Liked: The location was perfect as we spent each day at the beach. The hotel had an old Hawaii vibe, but our beachfront room was very modern. The Lava Lava Beach Club was a fabulous addition, with live music, great drinks and wonderful food. A three minute walk to the Coconut Marketplace for shopping and an outstanding deli food market was great.
Disliked: I can't think of anything that did not meet our vacation expectations.
