Julie, Pacific, visiting Crossroads KC Mon, 4 September 2017

We just spent the night in Kansas City and left the next morning. We did have breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and it was really good.

Liked: I loved the elevators. You just put the floor your room is on in a pad outside the elevator and it tells you what elevator door to get on. You don't even feel like you're on an elevator.
Disliked: No, there was nothing bad about the Kansas City Marriott Downtown.

Very Good - 4 out of 5

Cindy, Gaylord Mon, 13 February 2017

Location was great for the events we were attending and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Disliked: Yes. Restaurant, the Metropolitan, and there was no hot tub.

Disappointing - 2 out of 5

Aurora, Kansas City Mon, 23 July 2012

The rooms were tiny! And where are those awesome bathrobes? For $300 a night I at least wanted to take a late night dip in the pool. But it closed at 10. Dumb. $13 for self parking is terrible - it should have been free.

Disliked: Small rooms; no bathrobes; parking is too expensive.

Disappointing - 2 out of 5

Julie, Manhattan Wed, 21 September 2011

Was not impressed with the hotel in general. Was not informed of extra charges for internet service and self parking. I have stayed at numerous hotels in the KC area, this was the worst due to the impersonal service and extra fees. I won't be back to this hotel, I just expect more.

Liked: Close to power & light district
Disliked: Very impersonal large hotel, if you want to be treated like a number, not a guest, this is the hotel for you!!!

Fabulous

Liked: Beds were amazing.
Disliked: The late night staff were not very friendly and the food could use some work. Checking in there was a line and checking out. Should be more staff when a line forms.

Great location; poor process management

Liked: The location of the hotel was excellent as it was within walking distance to all of the key downtown venues.
Disliked: We were in KC for the SNF game, we stayed at the hotel for three nights, and our room was not serviced once during our stay - we mentioned this at check out and received an insignificant response by the Associate. Moreover, there were no glasses in the room, not a significant deficiency, but something a hotel of this standard should provide by default.
