Liked: The staff and restaurant were very nice
Disliked: Price was high for the age of the property the rooms were out dated and mattresses were not comfy

Great visit hope to stay...

Liked: Lovely logde setting. Staff were very helpful, and the free laundry was nice after 4 days of travel. Decent breakfast with great coffee. Spa was very hot and relaxing after a long day of Glacier Park exploring. On site restaurant Buchanans was fabulous !!

A pricey but convenient place...

Liked: Excellent proximity to Whitefish Mountain, where we took the lifts to the summit for a lovely summer hike. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub both evenings of our stay.
Disliked: For the price, I expected a better breakfast especially in the breads and pastries category. It was all white flour and/or sugary products. Upon check out, I suggested some whole grain options such as multi-grain bread and bran muffins. Also, any upholstered furniture we sat in, whether in our room or the lounge off the lobby, we sank into because the springs were so worn. Upgrades or repairs are needed.

Vacation finally spent in Whitefish

Liked: The property was very nice, great lounge area, friendly service, and quiet.
Disliked: It was a bit far from Whitefish downtown and entrance to Glacier National Park.

Best place to stay if...

Liked: Absolutely loved Kandahar Lodge! The leather couches and crackling fire as you enter the lodge is so welcoming. The rooms are charming, clean and very comfortable! Hope to be able to stay there again!
