Modern and colorful, K Hotel Kensington is a stylish 4-star spot nestled in London's upscale Kensington district. With plush Italian furnishings, Egyptian cotton sheets, and power showers in every private bathroom, it’s a comfortable and convenient base for concert-goers. Located just a 5-minute walk from Gloucester Road Underground Station and under 15 minutes from iconic museums and Hyde Park, this hotel blends culture with convenience.

Why Concert-goers love it

With Gloucester Road Station just around the corner, getting to major London music venues is a breeze. The hotel’s central location means you’re never far from the action, but tucked away in a quieter area perfect for post-show wind-downs. Kensington keeps it classy with wine bars and cozy pubs nearby, but you’re just a few Tube stops from the buzzing nightlife of Soho and Camden. Whether you want smooth cocktails or a dance floor, it’s all easily reachable.

What People Say

Guests rave about the stylish rooms, comfortable beds, and easy access to transport. The hotel’s cleanliness and attentive housekeeping also get consistent praise, and many love the upscale feel without the high price tag.

Areas for Improvement

Good place for a short...

Liked: Location and entrance are great. Good size considering it’s a budget room.
Disliked: Without warning, I was in a basement room with very limited natural light. This needs to be communicated in advance.

I would stay here again...

Liked: Location was perfect, very close to Gloucester rd tube station and inbetween a Tesco Express, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s. Room was cleaned and towels changed daily. Coffee and tea in room replenished daily as well. Tv had a good channel selection.
Disliked: The toilet was too close to the basin so it had to be used sideways which was a bit weird, but I survived.

Convenient location for the V...

Liked: Our room was available early which was really helpful. Our room was on the 3rd floor and accessible by lift. It was clean, and quite roomy, and had twin beds as requested. Air conditioned. Shower pressure was excellent. Staff at check in and check out were friendly. They stored our bags for us after check out. Gloucester Rd underground was two blocks away, and Earl's Court station was about 7 minutes walk away. Lots of buses along the main road. Large Waitrose close by. The restaurant near Waitrose was really good "Ask Italian".We would stay here again.
Disliked: No fridge in the room so we couldn't keep milk or drinks cold. There were only four small milk portions provided which was not enough for our tea and coffee. We bought some fresh milk for our afternoon tea but had to throw out the rest as we couldn't keep it chilled.Communication wasn't great. I received my booking confirmation message via the Booking.com messages app the day before our arrival and it stated I had booked for one adult. I replied querying this as I had booked for two adults. I did not receive a response to this message until the afternoon after we checked in. When I hadn't had a response to my query, I rang the hotel on the morning of our arrival date and was told to ask when we arrived for check-in. I asked if he could alter it whilst I was the phone to him but he told me was a trainee so could not. I was anxious that when we arrived, there would not be a room with two beds. There was no hotel directory in the room outlining details about breakfast, or if there was an iron and ironing board available or any other services available. The staff whilst friendly when checking in and out, did not acknowledge / greet guests as we passed by them. Just a simple "hello" or wave would lift the tone. I must acknowledge one male cleaner on our departure who did smile and say hello to us as we walked past him.

Very good

Liked: Short walk to Gloucester st station which is on the same line as most of the sights, only a few stops away. Clean and open 24hrs so perfect for us as we arrived around midnight
Disliked: The room is quite small and our room was on the basement floor so did not have any views
