Liked: My daughter had breakfast in her room and it looked amazing
Disliked: had to call down 3 times for pillows one night and bowls one morning. Took forever

Liked: Wonderful location, friendly personal, nice evening program and kids animation.
Disliked: Our room was dirty: a lot of powder on top of the furniture. It looks like nobody were staying at the room about month or so. Nobody came to clean-up even after i've asked about it. Also we had a dinner and breakfast at the same table in the steak restaurant and both time i found same dried piece of steak at the floor behind of our table and nobody removed it during 2 days. I would suggest you guys to work better on cleaning.

Family weekend getaway

Liked: This hotel is beautifully located in the most stunning area you could think of in Muskoka. It is well spread out with many facilities and great things to do. We had booked 2 rooms and they were both clean and spacious with gorgeous views of the lake. Special shout out to Danielle, at the Lakes restaurant who was attentive, helpful, understanding and pleasant throughout the whole process!
Disliked: On the day of our checkout however, as we were heading for breakfast at “Cottages” ( we paid for breakfast to be part of the room price) the hostess stopped us and told us to proceed to the A La carte area for breakfast with no further information. Although we explained we had breakfast as part of our package, she was unable to explain why we were not entitled to have breakfast at the buffet. She remained on the phone and did not advise us any further information. We understood at a later stage that there was a Mother’s Day brunch that was not a part of our package. This was not at any point of our stay, not at check in, not in any of the 3 printed papers we were given, not even at breakfast the day earlier told to us that we would not be able to access the buffet breakfast that morning. The hostess could not tell us anything leaving us in the dark and annoyed. We asked for a manager who failed to explain the process any better until we were visibly irritated. We were then told we could order whatever we wanted from the A La carte restaurant to appease us. The whole process was severely mismanaged and could have been avoided with some simple communication. It did not uphold the standards of the JW Marriott’s we have visited around the world. It ruined the last bit of our trip and was completely unnecessary. Although the waiting staff at the restaurant at the “Lakes” was visibly stressed managing the overflow of people, again due to the gross mismanagement of the breakfast buffet mishap, they did a great job attending to us all.
