Disliked: During our stay, we experienced something completely unacceptable: a needle was sticking out of the hotel-provided slipper, which my pregnant wife was using.Thankfully, she wasn't hurt, but the situation could have ended very differently. The risk of injury or infection is real and extremely concerning. Who knows if the needle was sterile or potentially contaminated.In addition to that, we noticed a long hair on the table near the slippers and trash and tags under the furniture It even crossed our minds that this might have been intentional.Whether it was or not, it shows a complete failure in quality control and guest safety.We reported this to the hotel staff, and they offered a compensation of half a night. While we appreciate that gesture, the issue itself was far more serious than what such a small refund reflects. This is not about money — it's about guest safety and hygiene.I hope the hotel takes this as a wake-up call and improves their quality control. Other guests, especially families or pregnant women, deserve to feel safe here.

Disliked: extremely disappointing I came to visit my daughter and my grandbabies, and I came from Colorado with my mother and from the very beginning I cannot tell you how disappointed I was. This was their dream hotel. The grandbabies wanted to stay here and it’s just very very unfortunate the way the staff had to go ahead and treat us. from the staff and the valley persons it made our trip very uncomfortable. I chose a nice room because I thought we would get that type of service but it failed extremely.

Liked: I liked the location. Riverfront and walking distance to the historic district, shops and restaurants
Disliked: Food options were limited. Even though they have many restaurants associated with the property, they are mostly fast/junk food options. Service was slow. They appeared to be understaffed

Disliked: Our ac hardly worked in our room, we dined at turbine a property restaurant and they forgot our order and took over an hour to get and tables who came in way after us had dined and left before we even got our food and the server did not even apologize but tried to offer us a free entree that was a mess up in the kitchen (had eyes on the kitchen and have worked in food and bev and could just read the room/situation). When we checked out they couldn’t locate our car for 45 minutes and tried to say there was not a car with our name on it and tried to tell us our car was not there. We will not be staying at the jw Marriott in Savannah again.

Worth every penny!

Disliked: I liked and enjoyed everything. My only regret is that I could not stay longer. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Resort style property with all...

Liked: This property has it all. Location right on the river. Rooftop pool was amazing! All onsite restaurants were unique and exceptional. The lobby featured some cool and beautiful fossils and stones/ gems. We noticed something new to look at every day. The location is very walkable to the downtown area. I highly recommend staying here.
Disliked: We wish there was special access to the roof top bar for hotel guests. However waiting in the line was well worth it.
