Great location, terrible staff! For...

Liked: Location was great, being directly connected to the mall.
Disliked: After driving 14 hours from Texas I pull into the valet area, was asked if I needed help with my bags. I said, yes! And then was told, well the guy who does bags is on break and we legally can’t touch them. I said, do you have a luggage cart I can use, I walked inside and found one loaded my own bags do my room. Funny thing is I checked out a day early, and the same 2 people were at valet, and asked if I needed help with my bags, and I said… Let me guess you legally can’t touch them because your co worker is on break. He said, no we’ll load up your car. Also, when I tried to get ice for my room, I had to go to the gym on the second floor, where I found just a stand up cooler with ice in it. No ice machine. I was told it was this or go to the restaurant on the first floor and they will get me ice.

Convenient and fun getaway

Liked: The location close to the mall was great. We had breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and it was wonderful.

Disliked: Stayed there for 2 weeks. Asked late check out (4 pm) on the last day due to late international flight and got declined, since they only reserve this benefit to senior club members. Very disappointing after 2 weeks! Of stay.Also - the rooms are not cleaned that well.

Exceptional

GREAT hotel…with minor “I’d expect...

Liked: Ok, it’s a JW, it was beautiful and amazing! I loved just about everything! Was it a little pricey, yes…but worth it for how nice it is! The convenience with access to the mall was awesome! The restaurant in the hotel was so great! The rooms were spacious , modern and super nice! The pool was small, but clean and wonderful! Overall the entire space and experience was great. Bathrooms are huge!
Disliked: There’s a pool, but no hot tub, which I would have loved. Not the end of the world though. The big negatives for me, the showers (if you know, you know) were the walk in showers with the swing doors so water ends up everywhere BUT in the shower. This just grosses me out and I spend more time cleaning up all the water that has leaked everywhere. This seems to be a thing at ALL the high end hotels I’ve been at! It’s odd! Also, there were some “splatter” marks on the walls around the tub. I told myself it was just soapy water splashes but…this stuff grosses me out at hotels too! There has to be a way to clean the walls better (see photo). The bathroom itself was HUGE though, so I wasn’t too worried, just stayed away from those walls. Haha! It was really comfortable and sound proof! I was also a little disappointed by some of the “tenants”, this is a nice classy hotel…try a little! Someone’s kid dripped blue ice cream all over the elevator and hallways and it was still there the following day.

Facilities/maintenance were an issue

Disliked: Phone to call room service did not work. Television would not turn on. Maintenance came at 11pm and knew nothing and took another call in our entry with door open for over 5 minutes. Almost 20 minutes to say he can't fix anything. Toilet ran off and on all night. Disappointing for the price it was an anniversary weekend getaway.
