Communication at this Resort was...

Liked: It was a nice Resort.
Disliked: The hotel was nice and beautiful! But I did have problems with the hotel. I had asked about late check out when I was checking in, and they told me the latest was 12pm. So on the day of checkout I had picked up almost everything but left some food and milk of my baby and other miscellaneous stuff. I had hung out by the pool earlier and went up 20 minutes before check out. When I went in everything was gone! When I went to the front desk we spoke with a lady and she didn't know what to do but call security to bring back our stuff from their lost and found. Mean while we were waiting for the manager to let him know what happened, the manager of security his name was German, came down with our stuff. He wanted us to sign paper work that we received our stuff without us making sure everything was there. He was giving us attitude from the moment he got there until he saw the manager he wanted to act all nice. If he's the head of security he should've been more professional and understanding. The manager Rafael was very understanding and really felt sympathy for us because they has taken all of our food especially for the baby. He was able to help us out with a little something so we were appreciative for that. But we do hope that when someone does have late check out again, that every employee knows that guest has it until a certain time so this does not happen once more. Apart from that they did charge me for the days I stayed twice when I had already purchased it through booking. If I hadn't realized they were going to charge me double, they wouldn't have refunded it. If the hotel gives rooms to a third party they should have better communication so things like this does not happen. For a hotel this nice, these are things that I've never experienced in other hotels not as nice as this one. This hotel just needs a bit more of communication overall.
