Even though I didn't get the room I requested, the room I was put in was still amazing. Everyone was very nice here - one of the staff members even made it a point to make sure my friends and I knew they were serving free champagne at the front desk. I had a great experience here and would definitely come back here. The only thing I didn't really like was having to pay for parking every time you leave the garage. Online it says parking is only $36 a day, that wasn't the case at all. That was the biggest issue.
Liked: Everyone was very friendly.
Disliked: I requested a smoking room online but was put in a smoking room; paying for parking.

The Worst Experience possible!
Disliked: - Elevator disgusting, just don't touch the buttons- no housekeeping even when you ask because of Covid, you stay in the same sheets for days. All the hotels are doing it but not here....- Restaurant staff is unprofessional- Valet is extremely slow due to the situation in downtown- I asked to have more soap.... they let them in front of my door directly on the dirty carpet of the corridor... Insane!!

Pups paradise, Human hell
Liked: The DAYTIME manager was extremely responsive and helpful during the day. We appreciated his response to the issues we had overnight however there was little he could do. The pet friendliness was absolutely incredible and I appreciated how much the staff loved on our pets.
Disliked: This has been one of the most unpleasant hotels I?ve ever stayed. I was excited to book this 4/5 star hotel as I trusted this place to make an extremely sad and stressful evacuation from hurricane Ida to be a place we could call home for the time being. The valet staff were absent, and irresponsible with my car. I have had issues getting a hold of them and have come downstairs with the car in a position to be easily stolen - keys in the ignition. Worst than that, we have tried to call the lobby staff FIFTEEN times without being able to get a hold of them. I have two dogs myself and I understand dogs bark however there was a dog barking on our floor from 7pm-11:30 pm. I was able to reach management three times however it took five to six calls for us to get through. At11:15, we had to call 15 times and were unable to get a hold of anyone. I was forced to go downstairs in my pajamas, which was both humiliating and completely unnecessary, to complain about the barking on the floor. The front desk person explained that they were choosing to only use one phone and were at full capacity so the wait should be expected. I was confronted by the NIGHT manager who was rude, abrasive and claimed that we were lying about the barking on the floor. I showed him a video and he decided to follow me upstairs to make sure I was hearing things correctly. While the manager did say he tried to enter the room, it seems as though not much else was done. A free breakfast does not cover the inattentiveness throughout all 4 days - unable to get in touch with reception almost every single time called, unable to call for our car and get our car in a timely manner etc. This should-be 4.5 star hotel has turned out to meet the expectations of what I would expect from a 2 star hotel.
