Very good
Liked: The hotel had put a card and some cakes in the room because it was my 60th birthday and thought that was really nice of them. The room was a nice size with lovely modern walk in shower. Location is brilliant for the train station and Royal Mile. Our maids did a really good job every day cleaning the room and changing towels.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike.

Nice hotel in a good...
Liked: The room was newly refurbished and very clean, and the hotel is in a great location
Disliked: There is a construction site next to the hotel and we were woken at 8am by the works. We were very disappointed that we weren?t advised that this may happen and there was no indication of this situation when we booked the room or prior to our arrival

Liked: spacious room, clean, great facilities (iron, hairdryer)
Disliked: not properties fault, but awful drilling noise out back window - construction going on

Very good
Liked: The room was comfortable, and the bathroom mostly well thought out. Staff were friendly
Disliked: Having to leave the building to go from reception to our rooms and the restaurant was a bit disconcerting, especially as we then had to navigate either a ramp or some steps carrying our cases.Hiding the toilet roll holder under the sink made it a nuisance to use, as the toilet roll kept falling off the holder. There was a huge hole in the tiling on the access ramp between reception and the main building which is dangerous for those of us with sight problems and mobility issues
