Leonardo Hotel Dublin is ideal...

Liked: We liked the proximity to transport, local attractions, shopping and restaurants with everything within walking distance The room was spacious and had all facilities including fridge. Breakfast offering was excellent with hot and cold options
Disliked: I have stayed at other Leonardo Hotels and unfortunately we had a couple of issues at Dublin. Firstly when we entered room the carpet outside bathroom was saturated and an industrial type heater was in the room but not running. Secondly the room door would not close without slamming it which caused a loud noise for other guests on the floor and we had to get reception to send maintenance to resolve. Thirdly no A/C operating in any room Manager was apologetic and offered some vouchers for drinks and breakfast which was appreciated however I would have thought the rooms would have been checked before guests entered

Liked: Clean, modern and in a good location
Disliked: No air-conditioning (says they’re working on it) but it wasn’t a particularly warm day but the room was very warm. Had to open the windows but this made it noisy and with people clattering around outside from the early hours, I didn’t sleep at all well.

Liked: - F&B staff were great. - Breakfast was good. - Location was good- Enough parking and it is discounted from €50 to €29,20
Disliked: Reception:- we dealt with twi gentlemen for check in, they said the room wasn’t ready, but nobody’s room was ready. Everyone had to wait till 15:00. Which is check in time. The rooms can never all be ready at the same time, therefore they choose to inly let you in at 15:00. The housekeeper told the receptionist that she put the baby bed in the room already in the morning. So how was our room not yet done?Do not fabricate a lie just to allocate at 15:00. Tell your guests that you only allow them in at 15:00. I observed this practice during the entire stay. The two gentlemen were not hospitable either. - bed sheet had blood on it- they are renovating so you constantly hear chatter early in the morning near your room.- The toilet has no brush so you have to use your hand to clean the toilet.. really!?- There’s a big light near the toilet, if you stand to use the toilet and you use the toilet at night, it’s very annoying to have a light shining bright in your face. - Housekeeping came just after 4pm. Kind lady but with a little one sleeping the service is too late. - There was no communication about renovations and that the airco was not working! You should really inform guests upfront about issues like this. - Some front of house staff had absolutely no attention for guests.

Comfortable and clean

Liked: Super clean and had all the facilities like vending machine on most floors and mini shop on main floor. Staff were really helpful and friendly too
Disliked: Was roasting in the room
