Jupiter Hotel

Thank you for the comfortable bed, great shower and overall hip rooms. I've traveled all over the world and for the price your accommodations were 5-star!

Liked: Comfortable rooms. Staff was very, very nice and accommodating. Doug Fir next door had great food, service and an awesome concert venue. When I return to Portland I will only stay at your hotel. You guys get a AAA+.

Good

Liked: Comfortable and clean room, plenty of Linens, convenient to public transportation, quiet area, and felt safe walking around the neighborhood.
Disliked: Very basic motel room: No refrigerator, microwave, or dresser in the room.

Good

Liked: The property is in a good location on the east side, easy access to food, venues, and public transportation - all within walking distance.
Disliked: Area gets a little rowdy at night. There were a couple of nights of loud people in the patio area, after 12am.

Exceptional

Not cookie cutter hotel but...

Liked: Great downtown location. There was a complementary "Jupiter" branded condom on the bedside table which gave a us a laugh. There was an available parking lot, though not gauranteed.
Disliked: We were confused finding the office to check in. There were conflicting signs. Check in was at a sister location around the corner, not at the address we had. There seemed to be actually two hotels, one a motor inn (but without adjacent parking) and one newer and fancier hotel around the corner.

Not bad

Liked: Good location if you are staying in eastern Portland, good proximity to a lot of good food. Room was tidy and clean and the bed was comfortable. Rather quiet at night even though we were on the second floor.
Disliked: Staff were helpful but not the friendliest (receptionist seemed impatient with us since English wasn't our first language). Parking was already full at check-in and we had to park at an open, public parking space one block away.

Ok stay

Liked: Great customer service!. The staff let me borrow a steam machine to fix my outfit. They were wonderful!.
Disliked: The room has a great decorations but the matres was so worn out that it felt like a hammock.

Affordable and clean

Disliked: It is not immediately clear but they have two separate buildings: Jupiter original and Jupiter next. If you get put in the Next building you enjoy an upscale atmosphere and fancy newer rooms. If you get put in the Original building it is literally a motel 6. Still clean though

Convenient for a business trip

Liked: The location is around 15 walking minutes from the convention center and nearby many restaurants. The room was simple, but nice and clean. There was complimentary ice available in the basement.
Disliked: There was no fridge, coffee nor microwave available.
