Nice motel, staff wasn’t attentive,...

Disliked: First of all I’m not sure if this is booking.com’s fault or June Lake motel but we booked for a room with 2 queen size beds. When we arrive we noticed the room had one queen and one full size bed. We tried to talk to the staff to see if we could get the correct room we booked and they said that was a mistake. There are no rooms at all that have 2 queen size beds. They said they had asked booking.com to fix it but working with them was like “banging your head against the wall”. Overall a little annoying that we weren’t told back when we booked our stay. It wasn’t comfortable squishing 2 people on a full sized bed. Then one day we tried to get the maid to come to replace our towels. We must have put the sign out to late so we tried to go to the front desk for help, but it was closed with no notice in the middle of the day. We then called and were told that they were out running errands and had to wait until 2pm (around 2/3hours) if we wanted new towels. Just wish the timing of everything was more clear and there was better service.

Our fall visit to June...

Liked: Our room was very clean and comfortable and came with a kitchen. The manager was very friendly and helpful and told us about the places to eat in the area. The location was very convenient.
Disliked: Our heater wouldn't come on. We contacted housekeeping and left a message. After a second message, the problem was easily fixed, plus they left an electric heater just in case we had any more problems.
