Comfy, Convenient, but too hot...

Liked: Really comfy bed, lovely shower, and helpful staff. Great location meters from an U-bahn station. Excellent place for families with children as there are some fantastic play areas.
Disliked: The Aircon doesn't really work so the room was way too hot. We had a problem after the first night in our original room as the window sensor was broken so the Aircon turned off. They were fantastic and gave us a new room. The Aircon in the new room was as ineffective at cooling the room as the old one, so this wasn't an isolated issue.

Good location but awkward room...

Liked: We chose the hotel for the second time because of its good location. The staff is also friendly and speaks good English. Nice breakfast and easy parking.
Disliked: The impractical layout of the room - the toilet and shower are behind separate doors - was frustrating already on our first visit. The toilet doesn’t have a handwashing sink, so after using the toilet, you need to go through another door to wash your hands.

Liked: Location very good to visit the city. Very nice place to stay next to the water. A lot of places that are worth seeing are available with 15-20 min. walking distance.

Good hotel in a great...

Liked: Our family (two parents and two adult children) stayed in this hotel for four nights at the end of June. We had room 321 on the third floor. The room was reasonably big and more than sufficient space for 4 persons. The beds were comfortable.The bathroom was of a reasonable size with good water pressure.We have requested good cleaning (due to asthma and dust allergy) and it was done as requested.There is a parking garage under the hotel, but it works on the first come / first served basis (extra charge). We were able to find parking space on all of our nights and during the weekdays there was a wide selection of spaces. The hotel has excellent access to public transport as the metro stop is located just next to the entrance. (In Hamburg, a daily group public transportation ticket is an excellent value for 4-5 adults). We have not tried the restaurant in the hotel (except for breakfast, which was excellent). However, there is a large shopping center and many restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.
Disliked: The hotel stated that the room has air conditioning and we tried to use it during the first night (as it was rather hot on the previous day). However, even on the maximum setting the room was too hot. We tried some boost setting, but it was turning itself off after a couple of hours. We probably should have referred this problem to the hotel’s staff, but we just ended up opening the window for the remainder of our stay.
