Liked: The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The hotel was beautifully decorated and cozy. The rooms were clean and spacious as well. It is the perfect getaway spot if you want to leave New York for a while.

Liked: Stylish accomodation in the Hamptons. Lovely room with quality bedding, toiletries and furnishings.Friendly staff Erica, Cindy and Jennifer made excellent suggestions for our recent stay and we felt very looked after!
Disliked: Arriving on a dark, wet night locating reception was tricky! Signage in car park or at entrance to lobby would be helpful

Good

Liked: We enjoyed the facilities, the pool was great, the s'mores we're good ( though, the number of crackers to marshmallows to chocolate in the packages were all mismatched). We appreciated the complimentary coffee/juice in the lobby.
Disliked: The room was a bit smaller than expected, and the handle on the bathroom door was falling off, which for the rate of the room, should have been fixed more promptly. The pullout bed felt very rickety even for a pullout bed.

Liked some things but would...

Liked: Nice Devore in rooms. Towels were great. Bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The floors were so creaky that when we were in the downstairs room (before being moved upstairs the next day) we couldn’t sleep well because the people above us kept walking around. Sounded like they were doing aerobics upstairs. This shouldn’t happen in nice place. Also, $50/night for resort fee, which covers any food or coffee/beverages you drink that are in the office. The office doesn’t open til 8:30 am. By then, we were gone each day; didn’t use any of those amenities & still had to pay the $100. Rip off

Friendly stars, but terrible value

Liked: The location was right off of the highway, so it was easy to get around and the bikes were convenient to use to get to the beach. The staff was really friendly! The lobby was decorated nicely, and we liked having bottles of water and snacks provided.
Disliked: The value for what you get at Journey is simply not there. Yes, it is the Hamptons and you should expect elevated pricing, but for what you’re paying, you should expect more. The $50 resort charge per night is also completely overboard. The pool grounds are pretty terrible and are not worth it at all.
