nice hotel, small rooms but...

Liked: Location was good, rooftop pool/bar was very nice. Food in rooftop bar was lovely.
Disliked: We stayed previous week on 4th floor and used the services on the floor (kettle etc) but this visit we were on the second floor and we didn't have services on the floor. The room key cards were locked down so we couldn't access services on other floors

Different, lively and fun

Liked: Unique concept - record player in room was fun.Great views if you enjoy train spotting !nice atmosphere and staff worked very hard to be positive and make you feel welcome.rooftop area was great - views and peaceful except for the pool party- lots happening.
Disliked: Breakfast - was very difficult for the staff as there were not enough to manage the amount of tables and replenish the food but they tried very hard. Shower over the bath without a shower curtain or guard not very effective. Window on the 7th floor opened wide - not a problem for us but those travelling with children would need to be vigilant.Swimming pool.

Disliked: Our hotel room had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom and a penetrating stench from the air conditioning. We reported it to the front desk, but no one was willing to resolve the issue. Another room was not available unless we paid a significant surcharge. With no functioning air conditioning, we had to keep the windows open at night — right next to Bordeaux’s busy train station — so we didn’t get much sleep. Admittedly, first world problems, but both service and comfort were sorely lacking in this overpriced hotel.

Not ideal for comfortable stay...

Liked: Nice design
Disliked: The room didn’t have a lot and they forgot to leave me towels so I had to go and ask for some. Not enough pillows and little products for bathroom. The breakfast which ends at 10 was mostly empty of food by 9:20 which was really frustrating. I tried the scrambled egg but it was fridge cold! So the next morning I ate elsewhere. Rooftop was small and there was a party going on the first night so I didn’t feel comfortable eating in the restaurant which was my intention as I am a solo traveller.
