Josephine Old Town Square Hotel

Exceptional

A good (rather 3 star)...

Liked: The staff were very friendly especially in the breakfast room and Reception(Daria and Diana)
Disliked: We stayed for 3 nights , The room was dark and outdated and not as the bright classic , fourbed room shown on the pictures. The room was noicy (first night due to outside restaurants) and the courtyard used for maintenance people and cleaning staff preparing for cleaning the rooms. The water temperature of the shower was fluctuating and almost burned my daughter. The Tv was so small and only had few watchable channels (no english channels).The sheets had stains on them. The breakfast was not good ,(Boilded eggs overcooked, cheese was open in warm room, silverfish in tea cups and fresh bread selection was poor).

Liked: Great historic location, very close to town square and lots of pubs and restaurants around.
Disliked: A kettle in the room was missing and would have been really handy

Liked: Location is perfect for short and first Prague visit.Room was good size for 2 person or even for 4.Breakfast quality was very good.
Disliked: Breakfast area (room) is too small for the capacity of the hotel quests. We have to wait for a while and with busy schedule this could be a problem.

Liked: Location, location, location + friendly, helpful staff = the perfect place to stay in Prague!

Liked: Great location. In an old building restored. Very nice and helpful staff. Outstanding and excellent breakfast. Walk everywhere. Restaurants, as well as all the sights, are just a walk away.
Disliked: Our room layout was a bit odd. We had two big wooden pillars in the middle. You have to be careful, else you might bump into it. Sofa was unusable. It had the springs poking you when you sit on it. Needs to be replaced. The bar right next door is very loud until 1am or longer. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to make a note. Given the central location of the hotel, this is to be expected.
